The Laughing trout is highly recommended to visit if you are in Monroe,WI. My first impression of the menu was few in the way in option and a bit pricey. But once I got the Santa Fe Chicken pasta and the Mediterranean vegetable soup and started tasting the food that impression went out the door. I'm a Huge pasta guy and for them to blow me away with the Santa Fe chicken pasta is amazing. What I loved the most about the pasta is the balance of ingredients in the sauce. The sauce was made to perfection.It was worth every penny spent. If you don't believe me try it for yourself.

Food was mediocre for the price! Manager didn?t even acknowledge that one entree was returned to the kitchen. Will not be returning here. $32 for a steak that was not good.
