Blu Pacific - Monterey

"This is a fantastic place to stay, it is very clean. The entire staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. One staff member was working when I asked him where a good Mexican restaurant was, and he graciously and proudly explained where to go. That was so kind of him. The hotel is only about 14 minutes away from the aquarium and is close to stores. I will definitely be returning here. I also want to mention that the negative reviews should not be believed. This is a wonderful place to stay. Rooms: The rooms are very spacious Nearby activities: Close to everything."

I'm not gonna lie the structure looks like a old Motel 6, but the BLu hotel is great. I wasn't familiar with the area, so it was a little tricky to find but I'm glad I did. Michellee' at the front desk was so sweet helpful, the rooms were clean of a good size, there was a fridge microwave (BONUS! , plenty of room for a air mattress, bathroom was big the white lights outside at night were so cute. My teens took tons of pictures. My only complaint was you are under a flight path, so you can hear planes over head, but the first flight wasn't til 7am..I was already up getting my free fresh coffee from the office. There's a Black Bear restaurant just done the street. Great food service.

Booked this hotel last minute close to midnight and it worked out smoothly. Checked the room for any visitors and it was clean ? the room and bathroom are very spacious. Seemed well kept aside from some minor dust on the floor. You can hear the airplanes flying over the hotel which is kinda cool. This place is close to several places you 'd likely visit in Monterey. Lots of nice plants outside. Great place to stay.

Very clean quiet great atmosphere I would definitely stay again. actually I stayed a few nights. would have stayed longer but it got full. no breakfast availableRooms: rooms very cleanSafety: very safe and relaxingWalkability: in middle of all gas food and freeway.

My son and I were there for the Cali Roots Festival. The location was perfect. Rooms were great clean and roomy, just perfect for what we needed.Rooms: 5/5
