When you’re cold and hungry, it’s very easy to be sucked into the sweetest talker trying to solicit you to visit their restaurant. I really liked that the folks at Café Fina didn’t feel the need to do that. Plus anywhere you go on the wharf will probably be sucking ave. $20 25 per person per entree alone. We decided to spend a little bit more and try this establishment. As we walked in, and were shown to our table upstairs, I noticed the atmosphere was upscale, classic Italian while being clean and bright. Roxanne our server was fun and attentive, and helped us make some good choices. My husband got the Clam Chowder in the sourdough bread bowl while I ended up deciding on the Seafood Paella, both were excellent choices and we had a nice low key early dinner right before the new year eve rush while watching the wildlife in the harbor. It is also worth mentioning that we were given 2 choices for our free appetizer we ended up with the calamari, which did not disappoint. They also served crusty, sliced Italian bread with garlic and herb butter on the side very tasty. All in all, will definitely be back when we want good Italian food.
Lovely place at the Old Fisherman’s Warf. Very nice host and waiters, and hearty food. It has a great menu of Italian dishes with a focus on seafood. Last we visited we were not too much in a seafood mood so we tried their pizza from a brick oven and it was amazing! Thin crust, generous amount of filling everything to our taste. Definitely recommend this cozy place for its food, the view, and great service.
Ask for window for views. Calamari and sole were local and excellent. No local fishing for crab so dungeoness crab is from Washington. Has a bar in second floor which makes food service slow. Bathrooms were upstairs but only one per gender for a 2 floor restaurant. No bowls available for the sourdough clam chowder.
Everything tastes great and service was great. They made a veggie primavera on request and was one of the best I've had. Excellent chardonnay, clam chowder, mousse and creme brulee as well.
Good kitchen and products, but some plates feel a bit empty for their price.
