Chappy's Deli Perry Hill - Montgomery

The customer service at this restaurant is exceptional. We visited on two separate occasions. During our first visit, we dined inside, and our server (whose name I unfortunately can't recall) was very knowledgeable about the menu options. He was energetic and patient with us. On our second visit, we used one of the designated takeout spots in front of the restaurant. Once we parked, it didn't take long for a server to come and take our order. She was courteous and just as energetic, with a comprehensive understanding of Chappy's menu. I ordered a club sandwich without ham and bacon, and I absolutely loved it. I also enjoyed the chicken soup, and I had a taste of the Philly cheesesteak sandwich from the meal of my dining companion, which was quite good. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch. Just keep in mind that it tends to get crowded, and the parking lot is usually packed.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The staff was very friendly, and I arrived before the lunch rush, which allowed me to enjoy a good selection from the menu. I ordered the Reuben on dark rye, and while the fries cost an extra 75 cents, they were unfortunately cold. On the other hand, the French dip looked really appetizing, and the wrap and burger also seemed quite delicious. A great bonus is that kids under 6 eat for free—thank you! Ending the meal with an ice cream cone was a delightful touch. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Previous Review: Chappy's is a fantastic, dependable local spot. The breakfast is very good, but the lunch is even better. We’ve tried many items on the menu and haven't encountered a bad meal yet. I especially like the chicken salad supreme sandwich and the grilled steak melt. The onion rings are amazing, particularly with their horseradish sauce. Plus, the service is friendly, and you get free soft-serve ice cream after your meal. Their desserts are also fantastic.

Food was delicious and waitress was nice. I stopped in for lunch after being curious about the place. I enjoyed my food and the chips!

Neat dining experience with old school dinner appeal. Excellent food, I had the patty melt and my husband had the Cuban. Both were delicious. Wait staff and hostess very nice, very clean location.
