McDonald's - Montmagny

I had a good experience during breakfast, but late night was a different story. I found food on all levels and a mess that the staff didn't clean up. The fries were cold and the worker was uninterested. This was the worst place I have ever visited in my 58 years.

Just stop at the McCafé on your way through the Trans Canada for the best cup of coffee. Don't worry about the language barrier - good coffee speaks a universal language.

During our road trip from Halifax to Toronto, we made several stops at McDonald's for coffee and a quick meal. As I am not bilingual, I was frustrated by the lack of English in some locations. Despite the menu being standard across Canada, there were some differences and we struggled to order our coffees correctly. We decided to have a quick lunch at this particular McDonald's, which was very busy. We had difficulty placing our order until one of the employees overheard us and took our orders in English. She also informed us of a special offer and corrected our coffee order. She even recommended trying a McFlurry for dessert. The service was great and this McDonald's was the best one we stopped at during our trip.

Beautiful restaurant design but very busy. standard mcdonald’s. nothing special. has a playground for children to use.

Stopped over in Montmagny on Thankgiving Monday and it seems the whole town was here !!! The cashier spoke English but she did not comprehend it well. There were 2 of us with 2 separate orders it was like a comedy of errors ...we were very tired and very hungry so it was not easy to keep repeating the orders; we had to repeat that we wanted 2 orders several times my friend ordered first and then I ordered but what she did was cancel the first order and replace it with my order which we did not realize until after my friend paid the bill. I had to reorder my friend's meal and pay for it but I ended up paying more as it was more expensive. It was the easiest way to get out of the mess. It was taking too long to get her to understand and correct and the line was getting backed up so we got stares. Several orders that were placed after us were served before us we had ordered salads so not sure why it took so long to get our order.Not my best McD experience.
