One evening near our hotel, we unexpectedly found a small Cuban restaurant. Despite a private party inside, we managed to secure an outdoor table. The Cuban tapas were mouthwatering - we enjoyed the shrimp tostones, fish tacos, and pulled chicken tacos. Although each dish was affordable, even as light eaters, we found ourselves wanting more. Despite the large crowd indoors, the service was still good. Overall, it was a pleasant surprise!
The Mexican food at this restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. If you visit during certain weekday afternoons, you can get two tacos for $2 each. There is a wide variety of ingredients to choose from to fill your tacos. The combinations are fresh and original.
I am obsessed with the tacos and burritos at this restaurant! The ambiance is great and I am looking forward to enjoying the patio during the summer.
A tiny place tucked away on a side street serving mojitos and Cuban tapas; surrounded by photos and memorabilia reminiscent of old Havana. We stumbled on the place on a Thursday night and it was packed. They squeezed us in without a reservation and it was a great find. Informal, friendly service and the food was very tasty. Lots of interesting flavour combinations in every bite. The small space meant that tables were set close together and the noise level climbed as the crowd grew. It all added to the ambiance and, along with the Latin music, made for a lively environment. A good find and we'll go back!
