I am giving it 3 stars because the walls are covered with spiderwebs, and there are decorations hanging directly above our heads. I could see the webs swaying as the fan moved, and I was concerned they might fall into our food. I hope the restaurant takes note of my review and performs a thorough cleaning.
The cucumber salad with chili oil and peanut appetizer is light and flavorful. The noodle soup is delicious, but be sure to ask for extra sweetener as it is not very sweet.
Very good noodles! We visited around 3 pm on a Thursday and we had to wait in line for a bit. It took a while for the food to come as well, but the noodles are handmade and you can watch them making it.I ordered the beef soup and my brother got the vegetable one. I thought the beef one was delicious, but not so much the vegetable soup. Also, it was an extremely hot day so the inside was really stuffy with no cooling, and the water wasn’t cold :
Excellent Noodle soups and salads, home made, hand made noodles and soups. A great example of a small menu where everything we had was done incredibly well. Worth the wait. Large portions that could be shared by asking for an extra bowl or save some to take home in a doggy bag. Loved the Beef Noodle broth, the Dan Dan noodles, the Veggie Noodle soups and all of the salads. The Tea seeped egg was also an excellent addition. Recommend if you're in Chinatown or looking for a tasty meal.
Fun experience in Montreal as the cook pulls the noodles from dough for your dish right in front of the window. A noodle show! The restaurant is incredibly small and only a few tables to sit at, but plenty of space at the bar if you 're dining solo. I had the small vegetable noodle dish combo, which came with edamame and 'preserved vegetables. ' The main soup dish was a little bland until we added soy sauce and chili peppers, but all in all a delicious meal and a fun experience.
