Soba & Sushi Bar - Montréal

Finding hair in sushi is disgusting, but it can happen. The way the restaurant owner handles the situation can make a difference. In this case, we came across 3 hairs in our food, but they only deducted the price of the piece of sushi that had hair on it. A 3% discount for ruining our lunch is disappointing.

Classic hole in the wall, but with the best Rainbow Roll ever! Fish is fresh. Good quality. Fast service. For years.

For lunch or dinner, a reliable, friendly and reasonable go for all kinds of Asian food sushi, Thai, classic Chinese. I like them all soup for a cold day: shrimp or chicken or beef in a delicious broth with tons of fresh vegetables. Also...big and fast delivery (in the neighborhood)

This place was around for a while and has decent prices. I think it's on the hill, the quality of the food is not what it used to be. We ordered in Pad thai and found the noodles cheap, but we enjoyed the general tao... chicken and the salt and pepper cake. We also had a spicy tuna hand roll and spicy salmon sushi that were average. I've never eaten in the restaurant, just ordered in or finished pickup.

I have dined at this restaurant a few times, but I mostly order takeout. The sushi is consistently fresh and prepared according to my requests.
