And the hours published on Google were also wrong. Open until midnight and on Fridays and Saturdays until 2:00. This store is located in Sane plaza as Rigo 's tacos. I ordered the slider plate and it took about 20 min to recipt from the order. The dish is comparable to other Nashville hot chicken, but for me this is much closer and therefore a good choice the most time. Down there: the hot chicken here is legit. They don't play. Even the blazin is a good heat, unless you want to burn your rolls. Have fun.
Fried chicken places have always had a sore point for me. I absolutely love fried chicken, but I've been to a few well known places like the big name Dave's Hot chicken and the local Trap's chicken in Glendale but I was extremely disappointed with both. Lo and behold one day I stumbled here with a few friends a few days after their opening day to boot) and was blown away by the end of my visit. Let me start off by saying the food was A+, best fried chicken I've ever had. The sliders were masterfully done with both the ingredients themselves and the preparation of said ingredients. The service was good as well. We were the last people to leave before they closed, and the owner gave my friends and I a new menu item they wanted to test. It was a grilled cheese sandwich with a chicken tender in it and hot damn was it good. The only 2 things that I didn't like in this otherwise wonderful experience was the taste of their tap water which was as bad as you'd expect in a rundown public elementary school. Also the fact that their exit door, separate from their entrance door) which is located next to a few of the tables, is broken in the sense that it doesn't close all the way unless you lock it. This allowed a nasty draft to freeze my buns while I waited for my hot buns to arrive. Minor critiques nevertheless. Overall, I'm ecstatic that this place opened up. If they change their opening time from 6pm to sometime during lunch, I will be a happy camper.
Best hot chicken place in Los Angeles. A truly hidden gem with not only the best hot chicken but the best prices compared to all the others. They have a killer grilled cheese that nobody else can touch and the nicest staff all around. You'll get addicted you’ve been warned.
Always great food! Staff is on hand and ready to greet customers. Excellent quality food and portions on point.
Ordering the slider and the delicate combo with several heat levels. Medium on the slide and hot on the tender. I'd say the heat was good, but I really would just lie. Not because I didn't try it, but because I also ordered a side plier with her blazing hot level of heat. The cashier was in front with his recommendation of extra hot(can only be hot) or down and let me know that they use Scorpion and Carolina Reaper pepper on this level. I can be pretty good spicy, but honestly, the heat on this side was ruinous. It slowly began the heat to ludicrous speed. It's been a while since I had to wash my lips of spices, what I did a few times while I ate all the delicate bite until I ate it all. Together with many drinks and creamy dip and yogurt. I should have tried the other slider and the bidder first. I've eaten some fries before, and they were crisp and well seasoned. If you are a super spicy food lover, this level would be recommended. I'll say if you're a casual spicy food, then you'll stick to everything below. Maybe even under extra hot. My friend ate the hot tenderness and she sometimes finds Sriracha to be spicy when she is swallowed. The claw on the slide was beautiful and cool and tasteful. Maybe it would have been a better fight for the blowing heat. I need to see the next visit. Would definitely recommend, although I think they should drink a well to go with the combo.
