I had a home delivery and the meal was recommended to me and so reluctantly I ordered from this restaurant. I had the Kun Pao Chicken and their best fried rice. I was surprised at just how quick the delivery was (to Glenorchy).The delivery man...was very nice which was a good sign also. The meal was not only superb, it was HUGE. I am a BIG eater; not much is ever wasted and no matter how big a meal is, it is all finished at the one sitting. Not this one!. I was hungry and attacked the fried rice and half the chicken as that was all I could fit on my plate!. I ate that, thoroughly enjoying every mouthful and went back to get more- and realised I was full!. The next lunchtime I emptied the fried rice onto a plate and couldn't fit any more on the plate-what I thought was half the previous evening turned out to be about 1/3rd. I attacked the rice whilst the chicken was heating up in the microwave and then the two JUST fitted on the plate. I was amazed. Two BIG servings and full after both. $34 I think was the bill; not cheap against other restaurants, but the size, the freshness and the absolute quality made it far far better value. In writing this I got hungry, so just ordered it again. Well done China Town Restaurant.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly woman at the counter, who was eager to take my order. I ordered steamed rice, dumplings, and honey chicken. Each dish was delicious and met my expectations. The prices were reasonable, especially with many similar options nearby. Overall, I was very satisfied with my meal and left with a smile on my face. If youre looking for somewhat authenthic chinese, this is probably one of the best in Moonah. Its quick, well cooked and not over sweetened or salted. Good for both dine in and take away. Cheerful service, clean dining area which is rare.
