The Lunchbox Dufftown - Moray

I had lunch at this restaurant today and I regret it. The supposed cream of mushroom soup was not creamy at all, with large, difficult-to-eat pieces of mushroom. The cheese scone had an odd color and taste. This place used to be good, but recently changed hands and is now best avoided. I will not be going back.

We enjoyed a delightful lunch at The Lunch Box. The sandwiches were freshly made and we also indulged in some delicious cakes and drinks. The cakes were stunning, especially the Blondies which we highly recommend.

This take away cafe is excellent. We enjoyed a variety of delicious cakes and scones. The brownies were particularly outstanding, so much so that we came back for more. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good menu and excellent value. Had a great Halloumi salad and my wife went for broccoli and spring green noodles; also fantastic. Coffee was excellent too. Recommend.

A queue out the door at lunchtime for this place! We sampled alot of the menu, toasties, halloumi slider, absolutely gorgeous homemade soup and the best Macaroni cheese I've ever had! Everything is local produce and homemade. Couple are warm and obviously enjoy what they do. Amazing value for the quality of the food. Plenty vegetarian and vegan options which is highly unusual for a small town in northern Scotland. I will be back tomorrow and will miss this place.
