Ever since visiting PR 2 years ago, we have been searching for anything comparable. So glad we spotted this as we were heading into Seymour and decided to stop for a snack, even though we literally just had lunch.IT WAS EVERYTHING WE WERE LOOKING FOR AND MORE!!Absolutely delicious and super friendly folks. My only regret was just getting the strawberry lemonade and not a blackberry one, too.
This restaurant has been going down for sometime went there today took me having 2 go back 4 times 2 get our order right they also had no salt no pepper and ketchup you had 2 ask for it got just a very few packs of each did not put a spoon in my meal , guess they thought i could eat with my fingers
WOWzer. Had no idea what Puerto Rican food tasted like, and was lucky enough to cross paths with this robust red school bus/food truck outside of Mossyback Distillery in Jeff city tonight. Truly a gem. The order took longer than most food trucks… and it was obvious why. Amazing flavors cooked to perfection!! Huge portions too, well worth the price. I had the 5 meat sandwich with plantain chips, and hubs had the cubed steak and rice, with macaroni salad. Sooooooo tasty ? Eating on the outside patio (after entering the red door) and enjoying a fantastic Moscow mule made for a wonderful date night
First visit 4/21 and will be our last, especially after seeing pictures they posted on their fb page today that did not align with what we ordered. Half our order was overcooked and inedible which means we wasted $40 and an hour drive out of our way. I was excited about finding out about their food truck because my background is Puerto Rican and I missed the authentic food. The girl that took our order was not friendly at all, she took our order with zero hospitality and the owners aren’t friendly. It took nearly an hour to get our food which was to be expected but when we finally got our food, it smelled like old burnt oil. We ordered 2 orders of alcapurrias and got one order of 2 LARGE ones, both overcooked on the outside and still wet on the inside and tasted horrible. The fried pork was BURNT and we could not eat them. The mofongo was good and the plantains were as well, but that was it. I posted a review on their page and they ghost responde me so who knows what they replied with! The pictures they posted today on their page compared to what we got was inconsistent. It’s disappointing because I was excited about their food truck but I will never return. Consistency, quality and hospitality go a long way. Good luck!IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: Consistency is key to running any type of business! People have a right to share their experiences about a food truck, good or bad. In this case, my experience was not good and I am in no way shape or form trying to “damage your image”I simply wanted to share my experience. I hope that you can grow and learn from customers because what you have is AMAZING for this area and I have dreamed about bringing Puerto Rican food here. So I do respect what your doing but please find a different approach when it comes to your customers and definitely pay more attention to the food that goes out to customers. Being kind and inviting goes a long way here. Many blessings to you, your family and your food truck. Wepppaaaaa!!!!
