This Five Guys in Mount Airy, MD, has got to be the worst Five Guys there is for french fries as stores known for their fries go. Every time I go into this store I order french fries, extra crispy, because I dislike limp, soggy fries. This store consistently under cooks it's french fries even after being ordered extra crispy. If a place known for their french fries can't cook fries, what makes them think anything else is worth buying. Too bad, I like Five Guys food. Probably will not visit them again. This is an update to the last post. Went to this 5 Guys last night. I got a burger and fries. Well the burger was good but as usual the fries were terrible. How can a restaurant known for their fries consistently produce a poor quality product. This is a case where quantity does not outweigh quality. Fries were still limp and undercooked. They had a cooked appearance but were not. Many were pale to white in color. I knew as soon as I saw them that they would be undercooked. But hey, the burger was good. Food was terrible. Bread was soggy. The hamburger tastes just like the one in Burger King next door. The only difference is next door. You're not spending $20 for french fries on a burger. Doesn't say anywhere that a hamburger is actually a double burger which is stupid. But when I asked it was pointless because they didn't speak English. The fry suck. They weren't even done.
