This is by far our very special go to restaurant. The Giermindl family is fantastic. They are so happy and provide great and very pleasant service. Needless to say, the food is awesome. The flavors and presentation are wonderful. We will definitely return again, we 've been many tiomes in the past. You should reserve [hidden email] I highly recommend this marvelous German restaurant and meat shop.

My first visit won’t be my last! I’ve always wanted to visit this restaurant, but the timing has never been right, as it is a fair drive from my home in Saint John. When my daughters asked me where I wanted to go for Father’s Day, and I was going to be in Sussex Saturday evening, it was an easy choice. We made a reservation for 8pm. When I arrived, the parking lot was full. When I arrived in the restaurant, it was clear the dining room was full. We were greeted and brought upstairs, where there were rooms scattered throughout, with private dining tables. It was clearly an old house converted. We had lots of privacy to talk and enjoy each others company. The food took awhile, but it was worth the wait. We would end up ordering dessert after “closing” at 10pm, and had to choose from two items that were left at the end of the night, but we never felt pressured to leave. I would happily return again, and again, until I tried one of everything on their menu.

Absolutely amazing…. Went this evening for dinner with 2 family members that have never been before. My wife and I have been a few times and never had anything bad too say. One of the family members can be a picky eater… meat and potato kinda guy, let’s just say he was over the moon with everything. I love the pork hock, that’s my go too when we go for dinner, they sell out quick though. The food is amazing, authentic, sooo fresh. The soup is sooo good and the bread is just lovely. Service… never had an issue, always great. Apple crumble cheese cake… WOW!! Even if you are full take some home for later. It’s amazing

We had a small issue with our meal and their recovery was over the top and exceptional!! Outstanding customer service and a beautiful setting. Can't wait to return!!
