Angus Branch Grill - Mount Vernon

The service was not the best very slow. Was taken their for my birthday by my daughters. I ordered the beef tips and veggies and I received food poisoning from there. I was sick for 2 weeks And I had to finally go to urgent care and get antibiotics to get rid of all the bacteria that was in my body from Angus branch I do not recommend this place at all I called the manager and they really didn't really care and their concern was if only one person got sick they really didn't care they base their's off of more than three people getting sick well I know several people and I will spread the word very rapidly about the quality of service and the quality of the food at Angus branch

I read reviews before going, I don't usually do this, by the way! But I went anyways after seeing a lot of negative reviews. I got the prime rib, salad, broccoli, baked potato, and a roll came with it as well. That roll was super hot and had a great butter blend to go with it! Yummy! Salad was basic, a typical side salad, but large. So far so good! Now, my dinner comes out, then it all changes! Mind you, I ate at 4:30pm, they open at 4pm. My baked potato was old and cold, my broccoli was cold, my prime rib didn't look as if it was cooked today, had no spices on it so it was pretty bland. It was cold as well, but I eat my steaks rare, so not a big deal. Service was ok. Never asked how my food was, or came back by after I got served, didn't remove any dirty dishes when the check was brought, and still didn't ask how my food was. She was very nice though when she was there. I ate, I'm full, but dissatisfied.

I really hate to give this low of a rating since it is the best in town but the service was slow,probably because only 2 girls were sitting people taking orders and delivering the meal. As for the meal the rolls were cold and would of course melt the butter. The steak U ordered was 3/4 inch thick on one end and less than 1/4 on the other end. My cross cut fries and green were old.

Terrific food, lots of choices like steaks, chicken, fish, and burgers!

Clean, delicious, looking forward to salad bar returning.
