The chicken was dry and tasteless and they didn’t even ask if I wanted a breast or leg. I always prefer legs but got a breast.I am used to authentic BBQ in Texas and Arizona, this is far from real BBQ.
This is a sneaky good pick for BBQ since it is nestled near 101 exit Southbound just after the 85 south exit. Been here twice before for pickup and the food has been excellent. Staff is friendly and they have a good selection local beer options either on tap or in a can. Private room option too. They tend to run a bunch of specials, and this time was the gaucho: brisket sando with chimichurri and provolone.
This is some legit smoked BBQ. The brisket was heavily marbled and just mouth watering while the tri tip, by comparison, had only a small amount of fat but was jam packed with flavor! No sauce required for either. And the local sodas? So cool. Visited the area for only one day I and would come back here in a heartbeat
Didn't know this place was here. I got an urge for BBQ, and I saw this place on line. I had the half chicken--very tasty and smoky flavored. Very good potato salad as a side, slaw good but not great. Certainly worth a visit.
Our second time trying Wagon Wheel. It was delicious! I really enjoyed the tri tip salad. For to go they put the hot meat on the side to not wilt the lettuce which was nice. The meat was seasoned well and I enjoyed all the stuff they put on the salad.
