We were looking for a kind of Dough Zone closer to Edmonds when we found this place by doing a Google search for Szechuan Wontons. Bingo!Forget the lunch specials; they're for Americanized Chinese food (orange chicken, beef broccoli). Go straight to the back of the main paper menu for some of the best spicy Wontons Dan Dan noodles. No more going to Bellevue! They have mapo tofu, too!
Best BBQ pork I've ever had! Pretty sure they actually smoked it in house and I dont think I've ever come across that before. All of the food had great flavor and service was fantastic.
I went with two friends who lived in China for several years. Every dish we had, their comment was This tastes just right We ordered off of the regular menu, not the lunch menu, which seems to be more standard Americanized Chinese food. You don't go there for ambience, but for great food!Sichuan tends to be very spicy. There were plenty of dishes for those who wanted a milder flavor, but we went with authentic. We will come back, for sure.
Food was terrible. First, when we called it in the lady didn't write our order down, so when we arrived 30 min later to pick it, they had nothing ready. They did give my husband a cup of soup and a Coke while he waited. Virtually no meat in the breaded sweet and sour chicken. There was 2-3 chunks of raw pepper and 1 onion chunk. The beef dish we ordered was terrible as well, we were starving, so we ate it, but threw all the leftovers away. Would not recommend or ever go back.
