Sophia's Restaurant & Bar - München

I can only the afternoon of sophia 's, but not in the actual local, but in the lobby lounge the library. because it was not known to me, I came up for my reservation at the recipe of the local. I was then referred to the colleagues in the library. I was kindly greeted and could choose between two places. after my reservation the table was already covered for a person. the afternoon is a piece of london tradition in the middle of the dunes between the main railway station and old botanical garden. after 5* hotel level the library is also high quality and equipped. Although the library is an open part of the lobby, they sit here very nice and quiet. no trace. and the corresponding level is also very professional, attentive and yet reserved. the afternoon is offered from Friday to Sunday from 14 to 18 o'clock. the food was served very nice on a stage: a selection of homemade sandwiches and petit four as well as freshly baked scenes. the sandwiches tasted very good. the petit four were also good for me but consistently too sweet. the scenes were, however, quite different when I know them from other English natives. they seemed like a big cookie and tasted like that. the associated cloged cream and the jam were delicious. not bad, but no scones yet. they can choose between hand-picked Jing-Tee-Sorts – I chose the in-house tee mix rocco forte afternoon dazzle. I'm not the tea expert now, but the tee tasted very good. for the ideal train time is included a 3 minute hour clock. the tee is included and they can drink as much as they want. the tea time arrangement costs 38 € not exactly cheap, but as a special experience as well as for the environment and the food offered it was okay. I don't do that every day.

Wir geben 5 von 5 Punkten, da uns das Essen, der Service, das Ambiente und das Preis Leistung Verhältnis überzeugt.Am Sonntag waren wir zum Hochzeitstag im Sophia und haben uns für das 4 Gänge Menü entschieden. Ein zwei Gänge haben wir umgebaut und einmal die Weinbegleitung bestellt.Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Weine werden mit einem kleinen Probierschluck empfohlen und Sonderwünschen wird nachgekommen.Das Essen qualitativ sehr gut, besonders die Hauptgänge und das Dessert - und beim Dessert sind wir eigentlich sehr kritisch.Die Bilder sagen mehr wie Worte.Welchen Schatten gab es, der Gruß aus der Küche kam dieses Mal mit der Vorspeise, auf der Terrasse waren von Brotkrümmel vom Frühstück zu sehen, auf dem einen Stuhl war etwas Plastik zu finden - für einige sind dies vielleicht gravierende Fehler, für uns Kleinigkeiten die einfach zeigen, Service und Gastronomie ist eben auch people business Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Era mi último día en Múnich, le pedí a un amigo que me recomendara algún lugar para tomar un Cocktail antes de dejar Alemania. Así que me recomendó Sophias.Lo recomiendo mucho, el personal muy amable, las bebidas y los platillos tienen muy buena presentación y excelente sabor. Wir haben an einem lauen Samstag Abend zu viert draußen gegessen. + vorzügliches Essen. Alle Speisen haben ausnahmslos sehr gut bis ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Portionen waren ausreichend.+ kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie selbstgemachtes Brot vorweg und noch eine süße Aufmerksamkeit um die Rechnung zu versüßen+sehr angenehmes Ambiente, sowohl innen als auch außen (sogar mit Livemusik).- Service wirkte teilweise etwas unbeholfen und war nicht dem Hause entsprechend geschult. Teilweise war auch das Auftreten und Bekleidung alles andere als passend. Zudem wurden wir von einer Servicemitarbeiterin drei Mal auf Englisch angeredet, obwohl wir immer wieder auf deitsch antworteten.Allerdings muss man löblich hervorheben, dass ausnahmslos alle freundlich und bemüht waren.Alles in allem ein wunderschöner Abend mit kleinen Mängeln im Servicebereich. Ich war aber mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal da!!

We had a quick dinner here on one of the nights we stayed in the hotel. We choose the bar food menu as that is what we felt like. Prompt service, helpful and friendly staff and good food.
