We stumbled upon this place, because the place in front didn't accept credit cards. Man I am glad that we ended up here. Now I've been here multiple times. Because they're a small place, I advise you reserve a table before you go. I also recommend you try some of the different starters on the menu, of which they have a pretty big selection. Their food takes some time to come, but it's worth the wait, because the food is simply delicious. Mouth watering main meals to simply fresh sushis. Fabulous tastes. It's a wee bit overpriced, but I'm ready to pay that tad bit extra for quality as high as what you get here. I highly recommended this restaurant. Make sure you go enjoy some good Japanese food. I'll be going again soon.
Came in on Christmas and had a splendid dinner. The fish was of excellent quality, the rice carefully made, delicious gari and excellent wasabi. The tempura was also flawlessly and the taste of fish and vegetables astounding. Staff was attentive and a pleasure to be served by.
Sashimi from the menu is of good quality. Salad tastes also good. Shabushabu with udon is great. Reservation is needed, because it is a small restaurant, but very traditional Japanese.
Was passing by on. Work trip to Munich and dropped in here for lunch. First disappointment: they wanted to charge me €1 when I asked for ice to put in my Diet Coke!!!Ordered Kimchi and Spinach with Sesame, Kimchi was really chewy and tough, with lots of other unidentifiable vegetable leaves, never had Kimchi like this before. Wasn't good. Spinach didn't taste of sesame, apart from the few seeds sprinkled on top. Both dishes were REALLY sweet, way too much sugar. Not good. Main Salad with Fried Tofu was uninspired, cheap lettuce, grated carrot, a sprinkling of spring onions, couple of slices of cucumber and three halves of cherry tomato. Tofu was nice, really soft. But the whole thing covered in 'our special sauce' which was basically sugar again!!The Kimchi and Spinach sides were €6.50, for a small bowl. In Berlin I pay maybe €2 for a much superior Kimchi and also cheaper and MUCH better at Eat Tokyo in London. Was told to hurry ordering as kitchen would close in 10mins, ordered above quickly, then 3mins later wanted to order Saône sashimi, told 'too late'. Bill was thrown on table before I'd finished eating, they want you out fast! Summary: food not authentic and very overpriced, service not very friendly, and they want you to pay for ice in your drink! Never again will I come back and would advise others to stay away too.
It's a smaller place in the outskirts of downtown. You can enjoy very good japans food, sushi, sashimi, udon etc. We come here once in while and never got disappointed. Food Quality was always consistently great. Parking sucks though.
