Central Grill Village Green

Menu area has reduced, but food and service was good. We visited on a very loud Friday evening near Christmas no sound level was not typical as the people stood around (loud).

It was often, but as they removed smaller portions, some are wasted, so maybe not worth the prices these days. However usually quiet and comfortable.

I accidentally booked the restaurant instead of the buffet. Place was booked out. Not a problem for the lady on reception! With some clever shuffling she was able to accommodate us, with patience and courtesy, which carried through to all team members serving us.. Food variety and quality was amazing too. So impressed guys, well done!

Have been so many times but the last time we had to que up far too long, too many people. Food is always very good but too packed for us.

Pros: The service was good. The process for ordering food and drinks was easy. Negative:1. The first two tables where we sat were sticky, that even after moving to the third table, my hand was so sticky that I had to wash it. Oh, the paint on the tables is eroded and they have become sticky, please sit somewhere else if you want 2. Slow, slow, slow, slow food delivery. Two Entrees and four power supplies were ordered in two separate orders, but one by one (so basically together) Half an hour passed and we got the delivery of the first duck (bruscetta). It was okay, but not good. After much more minutes, the first main comes from the chicken parma. Dry chicken, mushroom sauce with tiny mushrooms placed under the parma. Why? Sub par. Second Entree and other net not yet half hour after delivery of the first main). We went and asked. The Calamari Entree came out. It was good, but a little served, where was the rest? After a while, the 200g Filet Steak Special came out. The request for medium was rarely made it medium well. Dry and tasteless. The red wine jus was just a wet sauce very little taste. Again went and asked about the other nets. The service personnel looked at it. Excuses, free drinks and free garlic bread arrived. No net yet. 15 minutes later the other chicken parma and the fish and chips came. Chicken parma was dry, sauce and topping was tasteless, and again mushroom sauce was under. The fish and chips were okay. Would I come back? Never in a million years.
