Terrace - Mullingar

My friend and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Terrace Bar. We opted for soup, sandwiches, and chips, but they also offer full meals in addition to snacks. The prices were reasonable, the service was fast and attentive, and the restaurant was clean, modern, and spacious. There is plenty of free parking outside, and the location is conveniently situated right by the entrance to the motorway to Dublin.

Really impressed with our family meal at the Terrace Restaurant. We had 3 courses, and everything was delicious. Plenty of options on the menu. The gravalax was superb. The twice churned icecream was a perfect finish. Well worth a visit.

Had the steak well done...lovely,followed by twice churned ice cream again lovely,staff were friendly and attentive.it was quiet enough when we were there midweek but there was still plenty of staff about.

Had dinner in the hotel restaurant on a Saturday night when a large function was going on elsewhere that had spilled into the lobby and bar. In comparison, the restaurant was a sea of calm, and the service was excellent. Menu presented an alternative between prix fixe and a la carte menu. While the menu wasn’t extensive, it offered some tantalizing choices. For mains, the group split between salmon and steaks. Some interesting selections on the wine card, and we were quite happy with a Chilean carmenere , which you don’t often see in Ireland. The food was very good, nicely presented, and served promptly. Definitely would recommend The Terrace Restaurant for fine dining in Mullingar.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 days. Had dinner at the restaurant. The food was great. Ordered the farmhouse chicken (forgot the name of this dish), really nice. Finished with an empty plate, a full stomach, and a big smile on my face.
