The Local Grill - Muskego

My husband and I frequent Hale House in Hales Corners but it is our 34th anniversary and we wanted to try something a little different. Based on the reviews of The Local and that it is connected to the Hale House we were excited to try. I am sorry to report that I had the Nashville Hot Chicken and it was the worst tasting sandwich I think I have ever had. The sauce was a horrible flavor and the cornflakes held so much of the grease that it was overwhelming. I couldn't eat more than a few bites and my husband tried a few and neither of us could stomach it. My husband had the short rib sandwich and it was just ok. The service was very good, food not so much. Will be sticking with the Hale House from now on.

Cannot get a more perfect burger than The Local. Truly the balance and perfect amount of everything.

We tried The Local on a whim. It's a really cute, clean place. Our waitress was friendly and had some great suggestions. The food was delicious. I was impressed and we will be back!

One of our favorite places! Food is incredible the vibe of the place is great. Our go to place for awesome weekly specials.

This is a go to place for lunch during the week. Great food and service every time we’ve been here.Parking: Get here early at lunch to get parking. Dinner times on the weekends always looks packed and the lot runs out of parking.
