Also, the rest of the food is really just ok....NOTHING special. However, our waiter was really nice made sure our drinks stayed full.
We arrived about an hour before closing, so I didn't expect the best buffet. But I was truly disappointed. The food on the buffet was dried out. The pecan pie had sparse pecans, and the filling was thin and runny. None of the food on the buffet was labeled. The crab legs were cold. I would advise to stay far away from this dump.
Bennetts Calabash was what I expected out of a seafood buffet. The food was decent. Their raw bar was wonderful but everything else was a bit lacking. My husband and I didn't expect the price. So buyer beware! It is $60 per person.Other than that the atmosphere is comfortable and eclectic. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive.
We were surprised to find it so uncrowded this time. I heard they had applied for a liquor license so apparently they lost it fir whatever reason. Personally I loved it being less chaotic. The food was hot fresh and delicious. The service was great. Plus this time no one was pushing cutting line or being totally rude. Will definitely be back.
