Kamat Restaurant - Mysuru

Been here 2-3 times . The place looks decent. This place is good for South Indian dishes such as dosa ,ghee roast, special masala dosa , vada and all but food item like fried rice and all is of low quality . Waiting time is comparatively high . Apart from that it's good

Below average food.. Nothn worthwhile abt ambience.. Service below average... Not wrth unless u t vry desperate... Has lost all its old charm.. And is easily misleading compared to other Kamat branches...

Worst place... worst food ever had....bad reputation to kamath...govt canteen serves better food...service staff are very rude...they are like" eat whatever we give''...never khaaa- math at kamat...

I went with my friend for lunch. We had meals, poori and chappathi. The ambience was bad and AC, fan was not working and it was sweaty. The service was dead slow and they did not bother to care for any of the customers. The dishes were okay and we did not have a proper lunch because of the slow service, bad ambience and the prices are also not worth for the taste and dish they offer. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It’s a real pity we have to struggle really hard to find a good place to eat Dosa and especially Mysore Masala Dosa in Mysore . Most of the restaurants don’t serve dosas in lunch time. So guys don’t come with such hopes here. I wish there would some dynamic person here who would cater to such needs of tourist here at-least as in my view Dosas are universal and food item now. Other available food and services here were good.
