Firehouse Grill - Nanaimo

Really great food. Everything was fresh and delicious. Good variety as well.

I came here for mother's day dinner and it was fantastic. All three of our meals were delicious. The wait was a little long but it was mothers day so I get it. I had the pulled pork sandwich and fries and they were so good. We also got the brownies with bacon ice cream and the ice cream pie. Both were amazing. The server was super sweet. Definitely worth the money for a special occasion, would recommend making a reservation

I'm so glad we made a reservation here. We tried to walk in the night before but they were full due to reduced seating capacity. Our server was courteous and pretty quick for dealing with many tables. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. We found the portions perfect. Enough you could have a three course meal (shared appie and dessert) and feel comfortably full but not over stuffed.

We waited 45 mins for a table, but the exceptional service and amazing food made up for the wait and then some. The Firehouse Grill is widely regarded as the best restaurant in all of Nanaimo. And it's a title very well-deserved.

Fire House is a must visit. Unique Japanese and Western infused menu, super cozy dining, and friendly wait staff. Contemporary restaurant in a building full of history. I enjoyed the black and blue tatake tuna and crab stuffed avocado. Yum!
