Marina's Taverna and Pizza - Nanaimo

The room is nice and airy and the service very good. I had the pizza because the online pics looked cheesy delish. It was not bad. A family member had the lasagne which was huge and tasty. Another at our table had the beef souvlaki, also good. I found the potatoes could have been more lemony- I love greek potatoes:)An average meal overall

My wife was looking forward to a lasagna diner. So we drove too nanaimo from qualicum for a greek diner. Well we were rewarded with a wonderful diner and friendly ecellent server .marinas turned out to be a hidden gem in the heart of nanaimo. It was not busy I had the best ceasr drink ever and wife had a bellini Food and service was excellent really enjoyed our evening big portion of lasagna half of which came home. Had best ek me k desert.. this is a great greek restarant. We will return soon I hope..

Had a reservation for a special family event, got to the restaurant & they were closed! Never even called to let us know, very disappointed.

I was a regular customer for over 3 years.. have known Marina & Evan very well & i know for a fact that the new owners were trained for over a month & that they were indeed given ALL the recipes.. I feel that if anyone is disappointed with the food or servers... maybe they should speak personally to the new owners...

We have been to Marina's many times and were so disappointed with the Chicken Marsala (which is one of their signature dishes) that it was sent back! Greasy and chewy....This was an anniversary celebration so the food made the event a bust. After some discussion it was learned that Marina had recently sold this restaurant (probably without their recipes). HmmmmmmI hope the new ownership can bring Marina's food back to the standard we expect....until then we will drive by and seek out a different restaurant.
