The Portabello and Goat Chess sandwich was srumptious, but the soup peanut Yam was slightly confusing on my pallet as there were so many flavor components. a wonderful place for hot drink a light lunch and a good chat with a friend. will definitely be back
Here for the first time, from the province. Morning sun with many windows, very delicious beans and cinnamon beans with super cream cheese, good coffee and friendly vibes made a great visit. Love they're closed on Sundays. So, 4th and last visit here now a photo. Miss this place! May the bees of Knees whisper on Third Street!
Love this place for drinks and food. Beautiful decor with great and friendly services.
I ordered a catered breakfast from the Bee's Knees Cafe and picked it up from the new location. Having only been to the original location before, I was excited to see what they had in store for their 3rd street spot. It went above and beyond my expectations- the ambiance was lovely, the staff were helpful and kind, and the food and drinks were high quality, as usual. It's definitely worth a visit!
Had a delicious, grilled wrap with the tastiest pesto sauce and fresh veggies. The peanut yam stew was delightful as well and the portions more than ample I ended up taking half the wrap to eat on my hike later, along with a savory spinach cheese scone that was wonderful the next day heated up with my breakfast. All very carefully freshly prepared dishes with great flavors textures, fantastic value and such a nice family too. The patio and interior are lovely as well. There seems to be plenty of nearby street parking (I'm not clear on whether it's ok to park in the lot next to it). I highly recommend a visit and I'll definitely come here over any of the places nearer the harbor whenever I'm transiting through Nanaimo!
