Tour 120 - Nantes

My son and I were on a day stopover in Nantes and got lucky to find this place for lunch. Also lucky in January to enjoy the terrace under the sun. The staff was amazing and the owner friendly and cool. We had the tartare steak "au couteau" meaning finely chopped not minced and it was incredible. So good we came back for dinner and breakfast

We had arrived in Nantes mid-Monday evening and we're looking for somewhere for a light bite and really struggling until we came across this place. Located overlooking the Bretagne tram stop in the city centre, it has a good central location with tables inside and out. We were warmly greeted when we went in and received speedy service with drinks and menus. They have a choice of salads, pasta dishes, burgers and French staples. At lunchtime they have a much bigger choice. We had a BLT toastie, Croquet Madame and Linguini with Pesto and garlic. All were tasty and just the right portion size for what we wanted. With friendly service, great food and service - what's not to like? Would certainly return.

Okay. Very good reception. Boss Vincent has an eye everywhere. The servers are very nice. The restoration is very correct. The wine list is searched after 20/20. On a beautiful and quiet place. We almost forget to be in the middle of the city.
