I will be recommending Edessa to anyone I know passing through Nashville. As someone who lived in Turkiye, I was skeptical the food here would taste the way I remember it, but I was pleasantly surprised by how authentic everything was. The staff was very personable, and they were more than willing to converse with us about their experiences overseas despite being busy. For the price, the amount of food is generous. Cannot stop talking about this Place! A true traditional Turkish experience of their cuisine! The Laman-June and Adana-Kebab were remarkable dishes and I was told by my girlfriend (raised in turkey) that this is the most tradition Turkish food she had eaten in the USA. The service was wonderful and they were so friendly and kind when I did not know what something was and had questions. They never made me feel stupid! Highly recommend if you are ever in Nashville!
