We have the shrimp and vegetables every other weekend. Delicious! Would have it every weekend, but then we would be far too spoiled. Excellent food (other family members have other menu items), warm and gracious staff , lovely atmosphere.
I had General Tso's Chicken w/fried rice and egg drop soup. Not only was it some of the best I've had in a while, the portion was ginormous! Very clean restaurant, friendly staff and tastefully appointed interior. Full bar if you want cocktails before or after. Definitely worth going back!
Bao Ju is a typical Chinese restaurant that does not necessarily set itself apart from the others except I did find it to be a more pleasant dining experience than many. I ordered the Sweet and sour pork with fried rice but my order arrived white rice. This was remedied right away with no fuss. My mistake as the fried rice was rather bland and disappointing. However, the portion size of my entire meal was considerable and I left with a take home container. The inside was clean
FINALLY found a good Chinese spot, I was getting disappointed with the offerings around Appleton since moving here. Only other good spot is Cafe Basil which is a little pricier plus many of the offerings are different and it's Thai focused. We ordered General Tso, chicken chow mein and steamed dumplings. General Tso had sizable chunks of chicken with a sweet and flavorful sauce, the chow mein was spot on and the Chinese sausage in the dumplings was a nice touch.
