The fish was cooked perfectly, BUT it was very bland, just a bit of the seasoning from the fries and it would have been perfect, but without that it missed the mark. I also didn't care for the coleslaw. Service: Dine in
Follow the red fish to riverside fish. The fish was delicious and flaky, and the chips were awesome perfect Christy seasoned fries.

Our favorite fish-and-chips spot on this part of the coast. Fresh, battered cod is their stock in trade. There are a couple of other items on the menu if someone in the party doesn't like fish and chips, but the cod is why you want to come here. Crispy, moist, flaky, and delicious, the only question is whether to order a two piece or a three piece dish. The location is stunning: right on the banks of the Nehalem River. The views are breathtaking, as is the wildlife. We regularly see bald eagles and great blue herons gliding up and down the waterway, and in the summer it's common to see groups of kayakers or boaters enjoying the river. Which leads to the risky part of dining here: because most of the seating is outside on picnic tables, it's not the driest choice on a rainy day. There are covered tables, some near the river with umbrellas and others on a covered patio. Parking: Two city parking lots are adjacent to highway 101 just at the corner where 101 makes a turn up the hill from the riverfront. It's usually easy to find on-street parking on 101 midweek.
Great fish ‘n chips! We loved the seasoning on the fries! Thank you!
