My man and I stopped on a Tuesday morning before driving to the abel tasman national park. we needed a burning breakfast and didn't let disappointed eating wisely. Not to mention, I enjoyed her flat white coffee (doubly shot.) simply the best I had since been on the South Island! the owners are incredibly friendly and once we talk, were super helpful and offer baptism of big suggestions for extra stuffs, wool and possum souvenirs on our trip!
Awesome! Lovely hosts. Big portions. No one leaves hungry. And if you have food intolerances or specific food requirements they will be more than happy to cater for you with a smile. Highly recommended.
Me and my girlfriend had lunch at jacks for the first time today , I had the platter very nice and my girlfriend had the steak Sammie also very nice . But we found the service let us down , the young lady that is new came to take the order , when I asked for the platter she had to ask the other staff what to do . The Sammie and platter took 25 mins to come out. When we finished the staff didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or coffee instead the 3 of them were behind the counter yakking we had to get up and ask .
Our first visit to this cafe. Very disappointed with the attitude of the staff (no engagement) and appallingly slow service. Waited 40 minutes for a scone!! The lone waitress was clearly unhappy in her work... food and coffee on the other hand were good. Despite this neither we nor our group will be back. R&R
