To take it forward: both the food and the service have great potential for improvement to express the experience politely. The trouble began with the fact that one is not prepared here for families with small children. A high chair - a matter of course for every restaurant, was missing. You can take the little one on the lap. This comment was a nausea, but we were hungry. Then followed the next disaster: the food. We had ordered all three carvings with pommes. The Schnitzel we serve is obtained at Metro fix and finished fried in various weight classes. Here one has chosen the smallest variant of 180gr piece weight, and this prefabricated carving has been thrown into much too cold friteus fat, which leads to the panning taking infinitely full fat, so that the carving leaves a lake of fat on the plate. The Pommes, ordered 1 x with Majonaise, 2 x with ketchup, witnessed an enormous generosity of the host people. All 3 portions were completely separated with ketchup or Majonaise and thus completely softened inedible. The salad dressing consisted mostly of a tasteless dressing. But that is not enough: to ask for the glass to be warmed up with baby food, we were told that this is not the case - we have no baby food warmer. So the time had come to leave this hospitable place. Of course, there will be no goodbye.
My cousin and I went up to the old town of Neuburg to walk around a bit and enjoy an early dinner. This restaurant was friendly and cozy, with a large ceramic stove radiating heat. The food was traditional and pleasant. Parking is difficult but to find in the old town at this time of the year. Do not miss a visit to the beautiful court church over the place when it is open.
A large selection of excellent local foods worth the trip, the wine map is very good and the carving was the best in the city
Just in the middle of the old town with the castle close by. The whole old town is perfectly maintained and a joy to look at while enjoying a good meal. Excellent food served of very friendly and helpful personnel
Had a very pleasant dinner here. The menu is German and very well done. The beer is great and the staff/owners are friendly. They have a nice terrace out front.
