La Casetta Italian Restaurant

I visited my daughter who lives here and we decided to go here for the first time. service was good, the place is pretty clean, but eating is terrible. the people here in new bern may not have taste buds or they really like canned sauce. the soße looks like she came out of a chef boyardee canister and like it tasted. no tomato, no wobble, no garlic as it was puréed orange sauce. the huhn parmesan was so hard and rigorous, it was not edible. a lot of luck at this place.

Great place for Italian food! the tortellini was great! Now I have a Tortellini square. the bruschetta was for exactly as in italia to die. good place for big parties and the service was good. have left some photos, so look at it.

Really great eating. server asked us if we need to go boxing before we finished our meal. filz rushed when they were asked twice. seats in new yorker style are so ready for the people next to them to hear their conversation. had a pretty good wine selection.

Make you enjoy and spend your money in one of the real tasty restaurants in new bern well versed with professional employees in customer service. we have made a takeout order online. she said no more than 30 minutes, but when we arrived after 30 minutes to pick him up, the job was not even started. owner was not accommodating, told us he could not even refund the order because the online system gets the money. the owner was rude and gave us the blame that he did not realize that his restaurant was busy. He made us feel like it was our fault. he and his staff could benefit from customer service training. he has definitely never heard of the phrase, “The customer is always right.” we had eaten once before, it is mediocrely best for Italian cuisine in the south. will not return to a restaurant where the owner does not value his customers. do not use an online ordering system or pay it ahead, system has no contact information to be refunded, so we now have to deny the fees with credit card companies.

Everything you hear great about this restaurant…you can believe it. They were very busy on a Friday night at 5 pm. Reservations are highly recommended since they are apparently always busy. Luckily we got seated fairly quickly and even the owner was going around helping anyone and everyone which is unusual. Outstanding customer service and just when you think that would be the best part…the food comes out and WOW just WOW. Every part of our meal was delicious. Could not have asked for any better.
