Contribuisci feedbackI visited this restaurant for a quiet morning coffee. The customers were well-behaved, but the staff was loud and unprofessional. The manager was seated at a customer table, loudly discussing stock levels with the staff at the till. One female staff member was particularly loud and seemed to want everyone to hear her. It's a shame because the coffee and decor are good, but the quality has declined since the new manager took over.
The coffee was excellent, the sandwiches were delicious and toasted just right, and the staff, especially Ash, provided friendly service with great attention to customer satisfaction. Thank you.
Popped in to order a drink. Couldn 't pay by card, cash only since the card system was down which is fair enough. Went to see if I had any cash on me, I was carrying two rucksacks on my back so moved to the side to look through it. The young man asked if I was ordering, I replied that I was just checking to see if I have cash. And his reply was 'we have a one way system ' now if he had said this in a polite manner I wouldn 't have thought anything of it and apologiesd if I had done something wrong but the barsista serving was very condescending with a bad attitude about it. Just walked straight back out as I felt very unwelcome. I know it 's probably stressful job at times but doesn 't mean you can 't be polite.
I visit costa frequently, all over the place, popped in new milton store today at 1 for a snack and a latte. i have to say the 2 boys and 2 girls that were on duty (sorry didnt get names! were brilliant, happy genuinely interested in chatting to you, happily chatting to each other, it was very busy being lunch time but they were on top of evertthing, cleaning tables ect. as i sat there every single person left with a smile on their face, really nice to see. well done def the a team on today
The service was disappointing, they were out of skimmed milk and didn't have the correct size cups. The tables were not cleared promptly. Overall, it was a subpar visit. They need to improve their standards as there are other restaurants to choose from.
