Empress of Blandings - New Forest

This fantastic, spacious pub is located near the New Forest and offers a menu featuring locally sourced ingredients and a variety of options. Enjoy table service and delicious, home-cooked food typical of a gastro pub. There is a large car park conveniently located outside. This place is perfect for Sunday lunch, a romantic date night, or a family celebration. The staff is very friendly and provides excellent service.

We had a chicken roast dinner/ a roast beef dinner/ and a chicken burger great as always

We waited for over 45 minutes for our food to be brought to us, and during that time no one came to our table to take our drink orders or update us on the progress. The food itself was very bland, with the seasonal vegetables tasting just like microwaved frozen broccoli. However, the pub is beautifully decorated, making it a nice place to hang out and have a few drinks.

The restaurant has a charming and welcoming ambiance. The food is delicious and there is a great selection of drinks.

I had the belly pork, a favourite of mine when eating out. I've had it at least once before at the Empress of Blandings, and remembered that it was very good. It was very good again! The service was excellent too.
