We called in here, halfway through our walk and we were not disappointed. The sandwiches were freshly made and the the coffee was excellent. Thank you.
Expect excellent coffee and long queues at this recently re launched Milford staple. I’ll leave a full review when the new bosses get round to changing the café’s name on TA it’s now called The Paddle. But: suffice to say, the vibe and the location are superb, the food is tasty, and the wait time will doubtless reduce as the kindly and enthusiastic staff continue to tweak their “system”. Recommended.
Hurst on the Hill was my perfect village coffee shop . The coffee was the best. Jesse and his team were great.Food tasty and original. The young lady made the best coffee and baked fresh bread pudding. Jesse's gourmet evenings were to die for. A very hard act to follow. The Paddle has taken over and the coffee is good and the egg and bacon ciabatta is excellent. They Unfortunately do not often have the Pain au Choc. Overall they are doing very well.
While visiting the area we called in late Sunday afternoon to see if we could get an ice cream we were advised that although they don’t do ice cream in cones they did have a home made cheesecake ice cream with macerated red berries, we ordered one of these a black coffee and a slice of coffee and walnut cake, the attention to detail on serving were excellent and the dessert was exceptional, my husband said it was the best coffee he had all weekend, definitely the best ice cream I have had for many years. Great place in a beautiful setting
