Papa Johns - New Haven

I ordered two cheeseless pizzas for takeout, but when I got home I realized they had cheese on them. As someone who is lactose intolerant, this was a problem for me, so I called the restaurant to ask for replacement pizzas. The manager said I would need to return the pizzas before they could make new ones or give me a refund. My partner walked back to the restaurant in the rain without this information or the cheesy pizzas. While she was on her way, the manager called me demanding to know when the pizzas would be returned. He even offered to send a delivery driver to retrieve them. When my partner arrived at the restaurant, the manager refused to help without the old pizzas present. Despite suggesting she come back the next day, the manager insisted on resolving the issue immediately to prevent losing money by throwing out the pizzas. After an hour and a half, my partner made two trips to the restaurant and ended up with no edible pizzas and no refund. This experience was extremely disappointing and I would rate it 0/10.

This place is terrible. The food took an extremely long time to arrive and it was all cold. When I called the restaurant to complain, the person who answered the phone hung up on me. It's unprofessional and shows a lack of care for the quality of their food.

The pizza was decent, but the barbecue chicken poppers were dry and hard with only a tiny drop of sauce on each. The garlic parmesan breadsticks lacked flavor and the cheese sauce tasted like diet margarine.

First time I ordered over the phone a large epic pepperoni pizza with pepperoni and cheese in the crust. A special for $15.00. 7/23/22 Friday I was in papa Johns and ordered a large epic pizza with cheese and pepperoni in the crust. I paid$20.00 and the pizza looked like a medium pizza and there was only cheese in the crust.

The pizza is tasty, the coffee too, but the interior could do with renovation everything looks shabby and tired of life... I won't even say a word about the children's corner! It's so filthy! You'd better remove it altogether if you don't keep it clean.
