This restaurant is exactly what you would expect from a cozy, dimly-lit dive bar. It has the kind of ambiance that makes you lose track of time in a good way. I would give it 4 stars.

I moved here in januar. this is the first place I feel at home. so much for the personal and all here!

First time in New Orleans, our bachelor party group popped in here to dodge the rain. We couldn’t have stumbled upon a better bar to spend a few hours at. Ray, the bartender, we agreed was top 3 bartenders any of us have ever been served by. The beer was cold and the espresso vodka shots were a treat. If/when I come back to New Orleans someday, 45 Tchoup will be my first stop.
