Sure, it is simple in its decor and when you first walk in you might rethink it. Stay (and come back) for the food, service and prices. I enjoyed Chicken Tinga Enchiladas and my husband had the Carne Asada. The mole is legit! Tried the salsa verde which has a wonderful tomatillo tartness that I loved. All fresh so be patient as it is well worth it. As the neighborhood changes and new highrises are constructed I hope El Sabor de mi Tierra remains.
The food and presentation is great, generous portions with fresh tortillas for every single item on the menu (or so it seems since my group of 10 ordered different things and all plates were made with fresh tortillas) . Although they were very busy the waitress did well keeping up with our requests and was very nice. The only thing I didn't like was the smell and upkeep of the restroom, it's true that it's definitely overdue for a renovation but besides that it didn't feel or smell clean. I enjoyed the food but management needs to give attention to the upkeep of the bathroom and even consider a renovation of it.
Really great authentic Mexican food. Tortillas are handmade and they don’t skimp out on meat. Sopes are also great. Everything tastes so fresh! Only downside is that I wouldn’t recommend dining there in the evenings since this is typically a spot where drunk men hang out to drink and eat. Take out is my go to and have never had any problems!
Food are ok, they are not good with tacos, Reasonable prices, the waiter service is very bad, I would return as a second option.
I've tried tacos from a lot of different places. And this place just topped them all.Definitely stop here for all your mexican cuisine favorites
