The Ice Cream Place - New Shoreham

My recent experience at this place was not the best. The lady that was working told me that I wasn?t allowed to try any of the flavors before ordering. I?m not sure what ice cream place that offers 50 flavors doesn?t let you try them. Then she was stillcontinuing to be difficult by telling me I?m not allowed to get a small with two flavors. Then on top of all of that, as she wasscooping the ice cream out, she was putting her bare thumb on the ice cream after she was touching money from the customerbefore us (and given this is a cash only place you would think they are required to be more sanitary with touching money whilstserving ice cream. That horrible ice cream experience was not worth 18$ For 2 cups. I couldn?t even eat it knowing her hand wason my ice cream after touching money. I?m legit never coming back here and my mood is completely ruined from that rude difficultunsanitary service.

We stopped after a hot day on the beach and thoroughly enjoyed our cold treats. We all went for something different sherbet, strawberry cheesecake, cherry almond and everything was delicious. The ice cream was a little soft, so super drippy andmelty...we probably should've gotten cups instead of cones so we could have eaten more slowly!

Great portion sizes and overall really good ice cream! I wish I could try more flavors, because they all sounded good.

After a day of exploring Block Island on bicycles, The Ice Cream Place was the perfect pace to stop and enjoy some delicious ice cream. Their waffle cones were freshly made. And their vast selection of ice cream made choosing one really difficult. My entirefamily enjoyed the ice cream.

The only ice cream we found in the island. Expensive and not tasty. We ordered banana split , which has picture on the wall, but no price. And the guys seems don?t know how to make it.
