So we decided to take a place at one of the empty tables. the woman on the bartender side literally stared at us and I tried to go after the menu and ask her, or if we can order and she went into the other direction and began to speak with one of the other client who sits on the bartish and literally ignore me. another worker who worked in the kitchen area went out because they delivered some food to another table and I tried to wave him, and as soon as I made eye contact, he always spoke to the people who were lying down and rushing into the kitchen quickly. my family was just waiting and annoyed by the terrible service, so after I sat there for five minutes, without anyone greeting us, we went out.
Great happy hour drinks all day! her Wednesday wein can not beat it with less than $15/750 ml. plus love her jankee burger. sabrina and coworkers know my name where I like to sit and select drinks! coviding regulations are implemented! many. from regular, treated like family. the summer has the terrace/balcony, a great view of the river! right from the exit new west minister eastbound skytrain. it was not easier! support our local business!
Bartender was super vibe on the first and I plus a friend wanted to watch 2 different basketball game on two tw on a Wednesday to make sure that not many people are in the restaurant and I have chosen a page where no other...customers are around. When the chef showed up, he changed one of the game because he is in work in a kitchen and the television goes in the hand? and I asked the bartender if it is possible to change him back, she said no. I guess the perk of the work on turnstiles in new west is to watch their fav sports on TV, also they are in the kitchen. sidenote was a cook for 10 plus yrs never thought that this was possible
I'm not too picky, but that was a terrible experience overall. I've been in the nabe before and actually had a good time, but this last visit was a total train wreck. we arrived late at 11:00 clock only for a few drinks and the typical acti-cables appetizer, we sat at a table that was served by the current barkeeper. it took about 15 minutes to come by and another 15 to 20 minutes to bring our first drinks. I had to go to the bar and ask for the beer again and said: “Your beer comes”. the place was not crowded. after that, another server by and I told him that I had decided what I wanted to try, and he asked us if our server had not given us the last call. I said she didn't give us the last call and he said he would see if there was something he could do. at 5 minutes later she came to the table and said that she gave us the last call and the kitchen was closed. I said that I was waiting for her to come to our table for almost 15 minutes and that the kitchen had closed in this time so it was unfair, she just nodded and went. afterwards I gave her a 25% tip as farewell as she will never see my money again.
Had a Valentines dinner on our reservation and the place is starting to be busy when we came in. Very noisy and having a hard time making a conversation. The staff are friendly and always check your needs. The Beef Brisket was very good with...a tender meat. Yam fries are great. The coleslaw is not good, tastes like no dressing at all. The price is reasonable.
