Feel free to linger over a glass of wine and enjoy the respite from the craziness of midtown. The food is well prepared and thoughtfully presented. You have lots of choices in this part of town but this should not be.missed.
The menu is typical of a original French bistro. A bit pricey for us considering the good but still more or less the average price for similar restaurants in the area. The bathroom was clean. The food was good, though the menu was French, and the food was good, it was also forgetful. They had a vast option of dishes on the menu, so even if you don’t like so much French food or if you’re with kids, it’s enough to satisfy everyone. Gratuity was included in the bill. Overall it was a good experience.
Very good service and food in a lovely space. Quiet and elegant brunch spot ideal before a Times Square matinee. Nice menu ranges from a prix fixe omelette with Mimosas to a varied choice of a la carte salads, quiches, burgers, etc. Loved the Croquet Monsieur and the Salmon burger. delicious frites as you expect.
Coworker and I came here for a quick breakfast before heading to a meeting. The food was good, nothing to rave about. The coffee was okay, a bit bitter. I ordered the bagel and lox and the bagel was great. However, they gave a disproportionately small amount of cream cheese to spread on the bagel. The service on that particular day was subpar. We chose the place because it was nearly empty so we thought it would be quick. However, we waited forever for our check and had to ask several times to several people. We were also not allowed to split checks. After confirming with us that this couldn’t be done, we still had to ask for the 2nd time for our check. This time my coworker asked, the waiter didn’t even reply. Just walked away and spoke to a busboy (guessing to tell him) but eventually we had to ask the manager.
The restaurant was and the staff members were friendly and polite. The food however is just ok. We got omelette and french toast, a couple of cappuccinos and orange juice. The eggs were average and the french toast was not as better as the one you get at “IHOPE”. Overall it is a good place if you don’t have a place to go for brunch/lunch.
