It's more than a club/bar. We went on Tuesday, a relatively quiet night. We ordered fried calamari, truffle fries, grilled skirt steak and shrimp taco. They were all very good. And the service was outstanding, extra browny point to the manager, Linda, for her friendly and professional service. The cave-like decor is nicely done. While Friday and Saturday is party time for this place, you can have a nice, quiet dinner here.
Food was pretty good but tiny portions. I chose it for my daughter’s birthday dinner. It was pretty good but more like tapas than regular Mexican food. I wish it had been described that way so we knew what to expect. Restaurant was empty at 7:30. Cool atmosphere better for drinks and some snacks than a special family birthday meal. If you’re not on a budget than go for it!
The website says “Authentic Mexican restaurant” and that’s not accurate. It looked like a nice place to take my wife for dinner. This place is a bar/nightclub with a great underground cave theme but it’s not a “restaurant”. I got the feeling that they were a club that serves food. The chips were cold and bordering on stale. The salsa wasn’t salsa it was just chopped tomatoes and onion. No sauce to it. The tacos were plain (no cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion) but they were cheap so whatever. The enchiladas weren’t bad. But for what I spent on a short dinner it left me underwhelmed. I would love to party in that room, drink there, dance there, but for an authentic Mexican restaurant, it failed for me. Also, I asked if they had Guinness and they said yes and brought me a bottle. If it wasn’t on tap they should have said that it was bottled. I’m not a very picky person but when I comes to Guinness I am. Take a date here for drinks, the place looks cool, but grab food elsewhere.
More of a bar vibe not a Mexican restaurant vibe. Drinks were not made well, even after several attempts
