Puffy's Tavern - New York

Great sandwiches, plenty of beers, relaxed atmosphere, good prices. If you’re out for a walk or looking for a plate to share while enjoying a casual but lively atmosphere this is an ideal spot. We shared the gladiatore sandwich and a couple pints of beer. Friendly, fast, fun people watching just off the beaten path.

Have not been here in awhile due to pandemic but I remember it being much better than it was today. The beer selection is not as good and prices seem to have gone up. The poor on my cocktail was kind of sad. The sandwich was amazing as ever. All in all, I return for the sandwich but it will no longer be a destination spot for me.

Sandwiches were decent, overpriced drinks and the bartender is insulting and forceful when asking for tips. Wouldn’t go again
