We waited at the bar for nearly 20 minutes, and she became quite frustrated with us when we expressed our displeasure. She claimed she had been calling our name for 15 minutes, which was not true. Our dish, the ultimate platter, had cold crab, which was disappointing for a $50 meal.
We have visited Red Lobster over the last 15 years. On our trips to Times Square we eat there every night of our 5 day stay. Unfortunately this trip we were totally disappointed with small portion, substandard food and very bad value for money. We won’t be going there again. The manager gave us a discount when it was brought to their attention. That’s wasn’t the point of the complaint especially when the food was of such poor quality. I wondered why there was no long lines like previously were but now I know why.
This is an amazing place. We had wonderful food and outstanding service.
I recently visited Red Lobster in Times Square for the first time. I was disappointed to find that I did not have a window view, and the waiter's service was just okay. I ordered a Stella Beer and a Passion Fruit drink with alcohol, but when a member of my party also wanted the same drink, I ordered another. When the second drink arrived, the waiter made a comment about it not being the best choice, which I found rude. Additionally, I was surprised to find a 28% service charge automatically added to my bill for a party of three, something I had never encountered before. Overall, I do not plan on returning to this Red Lobster location.
Thanks to my OpenTable reservation, I was seated promptly. The service provided by Nick was excellent. The food arrived quickly, but unfortunately, it was just average.
