Serafina Fabulous Pizza - New York

On my first visit to The Met I wanted to treat myself to a great meal after a day of heavy walking. I was thrilled to find Serafina's nearby and was escorted to a casual upstairs area. I had an amazing pizza with prosciutto, figs, creme fresche, and basil, with a glass of white wine. The other specials sounded mouth watering as well. My day could not have been more perfect.

Great Food, but horrible service! Their salads and pasta dishes were excellent, but the service was slow and to top it, staff was rude.

Wait staff were fairly inattentive, but the pizza was very good. Probably not the best NY style pizza... The atmosphere was quaint and the prices were average for the area.

The pizza here was top notch... The best we had in Manhatten. Ate the whole thing myself : definitely big enough to share but once you taste it you won't want too. Thin crust that melts in your mouth. Enough said : .
