White Swan - Newark-on-Trent

The white swan is a great pub I have been in there many times over the years . The new landlord and his family are very good and friendly people. It's a shame that it may soon be closed, another loss to the locals of Newark. What a shame and waste because it seems that the breweries are not interested in pubs that don't return big revenue to them . In other words they don't really care about the punters .

Good local pub for good local people. Had a live music playing tonight. If You want want something fancy or posh this place is not for you. And remember cash only!!

The staff is excellent, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is friendly and laid-back.

I absolutely love this place! They have a fantastic selection of beverages, and the staff—Stuart, Alison, Andy, Natasha, and Rusty the dog—are all wonderful; they really make you feel at home! They’ve done an amazing job bringing this pub up to date. I can confidently say that their efforts are commendable! By the way, I’m not a fan of darts!

Great ales, friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere in this beautiful old pub. Highly recommend!
