Arby's - Newark

The new cheese steak sandwich at this restaurant is the worst sandwich I have ever had. Upon opening the box, I immediately regretted my purchase. The sandwich looked nothing like the picture and the taste was not enjoyable. The service was excellent, and I have had good experiences here in the past, but today's meal was a disappointment. I advise everyone to avoid ordering the new Prime Rib cheese Steak and opt for something else on the menu.

I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. I went through the drive-thru and waited at the side of the glass door. As I waited, I saw a person who I assume was a manager - she was not wearing a hat and had on a black shirt. She came out of the bathroom with another male staff member, and they stopped to start kissing. This was very inappropriate, especially considering the current situation with Covid. I was very disappointed, especially since I used to come to this Arby's location once a week.

I usually enjoy dining at this Arby's and particularly love their Market Fresh Turkey Bacon Ranch Sandwich. However, today we were disappointed to receive what appeared to be a basic turkey sandwich on regular bread, rather than the usual delicious pack of white bread. The sandwich was served in a box with melted cheese that tasted like honey mustard, no Mayo, and no other expected ingredients. It fell apart easily and we were charged the full price for a sandwich that was incorrect. My friend ordered the market fresh turkey Swiss sandwich and it was perfect, leaving me wondering why mine was not. It seemed like a beef and Cheddar sandwich, but with turkey instead. My advice is to double check your order if you want a fresh sandwich from the market, to avoid wasting money in the end. When done correctly, it is my favorite item on their menu. I regretted wasting money on something that wasn't what I had wanted.
