Nicks Hot Dogs - Newburgh

Pete 's hot dogs are still the best. I 've been going here since I was old enough to eat hot dogs. I can remember my mother saying let 's go get a hot dog and lemon ice .

I walked over to the restaurant, only to find that they were closed before 5 PM. Their business hours seem to be incorrect, which was a bit disappointing.

I grew up with Pete and Vinnie Orsino! I used to visit their place 3-4 times a week, and I'd often enjoy at least two hot dogs with mustard and extra sauerkraut. Since I was a family friend, I even worked there for a while as a teenager! Now living in Florida, I only get to Newburgh occasionally, but whenever I do, I make it a point to stop by for those amazing hot dogs. My good friend Pete has passed away, but Vince is still around. I haven't been there in a while, but I still cherish the wonderful memories we created there!

Although the posted hours indicated that the food truck was "open," I found it closed when I arrived at 4 PM!

The best hot dogs in town, but be aware of their unpredictable hours. We always make it a point to stop by when they're open. If they’re there, you can count on them being open; if not, then it’s closed.
